Its boring!
You can't hear anything anyone says, or talk without yelling. So if you meet anyone you don't know anything about them... you just kind of have an idea about what they look like in the dark...
All the drunk people rubbing all over everything and everyone are kind of gross and they smell!
You have to wonder how many people have vomited in the past all over whatever you touch!!
I've got better ways to spend my time without having to scream or go deaf, unless I want to go to a concert.
If I want to get drunk with a bunch of my friends... I'll just throw a party at my house. And then I don't even have to leave my car and call and cab... and no one else does either. Plus you can drink more and spend 1,0000x less money doing so! And you know who the people are that are around you.

Good question. I can live without clubbing. I don't think I have to go to clubs or party every week to be happy.
Clubbing is a part of mainstream and it's fine as long as it's a source of entertaiment for people. However, I feel it's taking the form of snobbery which is not a good thing.
There's a general feeling in society these days "if you don't like clubbing you have a low taste". I know some people who pretend to like clubbing to show that they belong to the high society. Go figure!
It's fine as long as it's a non-judgmental form of personal entertainment but to make it a social obligation is totally absurd. Unfortunately it's quickly taking a form of snobbery, bigotry, pretence, show-off, mental slavery etc.

Not as fun as others make it out to be. If you like to dance, or love being around groups of people, then have at it. But if dancing to over produced music, drinking, and watching people get drunk doesn't sound like fun to you, then go bowling or do something else. There are about a million and 1 other ways to have fun other then dancing with some guy or girl who maybe inebriated.

used to love it cause i was one of the drunk people in the room that made sure that the cloud of smoke stayed just thick enough for me to not be easily notices. then i woke uo and realized how los i was. Leaving the club alone is a personal decision that was necessary for me. Some people can handle it. i don't ever wanna be where i was again.

I think clubbing people is wrong. One time my dad hit my mom over the head with a 9-iron and I wasn't unbelievably fascinated by it.

I don't get it either...it's dark and you are drunk, how can you possibly meet mr or mrs right in those circumstances? And imagine what you could pick up if you pick up mr or mrs wrong...yikes.
I want to be able to actually SEE the person I am talking to and not have to YELL at them over real loud music to know what they are about. So yeah, I'm with you!

I've never been much into to. I like socialising -- so I love going to parties and pubs and all that sort of thing, but not clubs. To be honest, I'm not sure how much it counts as socialising at all anyway.

Clubs can be a lot of fun, and in many places they are now smoke-free - life is still fun with them!

What people seem to call clubs now were called discotheques in my day. I find them offensive to my eardrums.
