Beside The Holy Qoran (which is the most interesting book on the planet)....

I like to read for Jules Verne,..bcs he is just amazing and incredible...Verne wrote about space, air, and underwater travel before air travel and practical submarines were invented, and before practical means of space travel had been devised!!!

I don't really have a favorite author but if i had to choose someone right now it would be Anthony Horowitz or E.E. Knight. I am into fantasy, mostly about dragons and the supernatural. Like the series Horowitz is developing, The Power of Five. I have read Evil Star and Raves Gate and i am waiting to the third, Nightrise (cant wait). I have always been interested in fantasy since i was little. My favorite movie used to be the Neverending Story (i like the luck dragon). I guess you can say that I love books with Dragons in them, not when the dragons are being killed and not focused on them, but stories like Dragon Champion which is focused on ones Dragon's journey to find his kind.

My favorite author sort of depends on who I'm reading at the moment. Currently, it's Jim Butcher and his Dresden Files books.

If you look at my personal library, I'm all over the place - thrillers (Dan Brown, Clive Cussler, etc). Classics (Alexander Dumas, Charles Dickens) Crime (Tony Hillerman, JD Robb). Even a few fantasy (Anne McCaffery, Andre Norton) and romance (pleading the fifth there, those are a guilty pleasure.)

I pick a book for the story. If I pick it up and it looks interesting, I'll give it a read.

I prefer to read fiction, and some of the classics cause I never read them when I was younger. I also like to indulge in some chick-lit every now and then. I love Jane Austen, and David Sedaris. I'm not a big fan of mystery novels, or sci-fi/fantasy.

Lauri Notaro's Idiot Girl's Club. Any of her books are hilarious! She writes the only books worth reading in my mind.
