It sounds like it might be herpes? If that is the case, it will have reoccuring symptoms, and can be very contaigous...why don't you try to find out the NAME of the disease he was diagnosed with, and we could probably better help you...it is just to hard to say, without more information...and herpes can not be completely cured, sad to say..
