I mean, why does the decision to have one make them feel all confused and guilty?

It's just like lancing a boil isn't it?

I've had dozens of them and I've never felt bad or guilty about any of them. In fact, I usually feel much better afterward. Abortion is the only way to go! I think they should be mandatory.

'If women weren't promiscuous there wouldn't be a need for abortion' Lol, you're a narrow minded, ignorant, t.wat. Incase you didn't know, women can fall pregnant the first time they have sex. I also don't know of any contraception that's 100% effective. I took the morning after pill, after a condom burst, and it failed to work. 'But today people are selfish they can't see that they are terminating there child at the expense of their own pleasure.' I don't see it as being selfish at all. I think it's more selfish for a woman to have a child, when they know they're incapable of bringing it up properly and know that it will have a poor quality of life (perhaps they're a drug addict, alcoholic, mentally unstable etc etc), just because they don't want to have to deal with feeling guilty over having an abortion. Yeah, it's easy enough for you to say 'put it up for adoption', you'll never go through a pregnancy for months, then go into labour for hours, possibly days, give birth then possibly see, or at least hear your child, then be able to just give it away. I wouldn't have been able to do this, so my only other option was to have a termination. Since then I had a child and I have never once felt guilty or regretted my decision. It was one of the best decisions that I ever made.

Depends on the abortion, and why it's being done. If you consider the morning after pill abortion, then the decision doesn't make the women feel confused and / or guilty, at least not the ones I know. If you're talking about an abortion done on a woman who wants to keep the child but can't because it endangers her life, of course she will feel terrible, she lost a child she wanted to keep, but that's a horrendous situation to begin with.

As for those that fall in between the two, it depends. I have friends that felt guilty after an abortion, and others who did not. It really depends on how far along you are, and your reasons for aborting the child. There are situations where it is acceptable, and others where it is not.

Actually, you made a great point for your own question! It is because life begins at conception. For those who have never seen a sonogram or heard the heart beat of an unborn child at the doctors office...it is a life. Boils dont have beating hearts...unborn children do! I would love to get into the graphic nature of abortions on here and tell about the tiny toes, limbs, etc. that can be seen ripped apart after an abortion...but I dont want to get reported on here!! But for those who think it is a benign procedure with no consequences...you are very very mistaken...

Because a fetus is the start of a new life, is something really important that is inside of you.

It's not like lancing a boil. It's like parasite removal really.

i disagree with abortion.. the only time i believe it is ok is if the baby is going to die painfully or something or if the mother will definately die. thats the only time... if ur wondering why women get so upset then u r not a good person.. its obvious they get upset coz we all kno deep inside its murder..

because they see the ultrasound and see that the fetus is in fact a small baby, and not the clump of cells that the abortion doctors tell them it is.

Abortion is wrong...

PERIOD.

These baby killers are lucky to have the rights that they do.

Sorry, sucking the brains out of a nearly term CHILD is wrong.
