How sad is it, in this day of political enlightenment that lawmakers from Vermont and several other Democrats from other states have never read the consititution.
The so called "charges" that they have come up with are not Constitutional reasons for impeachment.
Isn't it about time the Democrats eith crap or get off the pot. Bring real charges or STFU.

The Vermont thing is a political stunt designed to get them free publicity. The fact is that the Dem leaders know that they do not have the votes to go get Bush and Cheney out of office - in fact, they want to keep them in office, as it gives the Dems a great scapegoat.

I'd say it is about time. I know Dennis Kucinich plans on filing articles of impeachment against Cheney and now with the Vermount vote maybe things will finally be under way. The many incidents involving Cheney and Bush would be adequate enough for impeachment but I seriously doubt if it will ever actually come to pass. We can hope. With a 18% approval rating for Cheney and a 30% for Bush, this country would be better off without these two blue collar criminals in charge.
