you know that i love this actor movies and fearless movie was the last one so why did he leave doing movies????

They said "Last Epic" not last movie. He just doesn't want to do the full on drama/action stuff anymore. He wants to focus on just acting.

I think he just got tired to the mindless plots and dance like action. He most likely is an actor and wants to act, his previous movies are just a series of boof, bang, aiyee and he wants to do something with a little more substance. There are a gazillion of those movies being made right now, don't fret.

Agree with Gayism that he doesn't want to be type-casted. Furthermore... he's getting old.. even Jackie Chan is getting into more "serious" acting. In fact he hasn't left the movies as he has a part in two upcoming movies: "Ci Ma" and "Warlords". He is also working on his own charity foundation which he announced after surviving the tsunami. I thought he said he was done with martial arts movies, not all movies, he just signed on to The Mummy 3.
But on the other hand, he's got a movie with Jackie Chan he's going to start working on.

Its not that he left the movies completely, he just won't do action roles anymore. he wants to be a serious actor.

He's not quiting movies, just martial arts epics. He's signed on to do "Mummy 3" in the future.
