President Bush has the best intentions for the USA and does everything possible to keep America safe. I truly believe he deeply cares for his fellow citizens. But..all Liberals can do is put him down for his efforts and attack him. Why?

Libs hated America under Regan, Bush and Bush.

They always will hate America as far as we can tell.

The path to hell is paved by good intentions. Respect must be earned, and our president's incompetence merits no respect.

George Bush is a likeable enough person. If he were my next door neighbor, I would respect him, even if I disagree with many of his views. But as president, he must be held to a higher standard. You cannot be president of the US and remain an incompetent buffoon. Unless you're George W. Bush.

I liked George H. W. Bush, and voted for him (the first time), although I did not agree with everything he did either. He was at least competent. He was a better president than Ronald Reagan. Bill Clinton was a GREAT president. He didn't just reduce the deficit, he reduced the DEBT. First time any president had managed that in decades.

Ronald Reagan wasn't a bad president. For that matter, Richard Nixon was a far better president than George W. Bush.

Historians have already concluded this president is the worst in US history. It is highly doubtful he could reverse that during his remaining time in office. I'm betting he will cement this victory by lowering the bar yet further.

What I fail to understand is why he remains so popular. Truman's popularity plunged to 20%, yet on his worst day, Truman was still superior to George W. on his best day.

Bush has the best intentions for what he thinks the US needs, too bad he doesn't open his ears or eyes once in a while. I'd put money on that in 20 years, historians will say that he is the worst president in this country's history. You have no idea what it takes to keep America safe, so how can you say that he does everything possible to ensure this?

For the same reason that conservatives did not have any respect for President Clinton. In fact, President Clinton was elected to both of his terms, winning more votes from the people than any other candidate in 1992 & 1996.

President Clinton was not selected by the Supreme Court, like President Bush was.

President Bush stood before Congress in his state of the union address and stated WMD were in Iraq and aimed at the US. Dick Cheney goes on speaking trail using same lies that were later to be proved wrong.

Bush stated anyone in involved in leaking names of CIA agents that they would be fired. No one has been fired.

An attorney general fires attorneys for not being aggressive on Democrats.

Karl Rove and company use political tricks to win elections.

This just part the lack of trust have for Bush.

that's so cute Jenna, you bought into his propaganda hook, line and sinker.
GWB is obsessed with how history will remember him as a world leader (note: not president but world leader). I didn't create this idea I read his own words in an exclusive pre-election interview. I found the article most revealing and frightening, it was a moment inside the mind of a megalomaniac.

Because democracy is based of the fact that dissenting opinion is a valid opinion. Only allowing one opinion is called other things, such as facism. I have served my country during Bush's administration, still doesn't mean I agree with all of his actions, however I do respect the office of President.

Probably because at this point I don't think many people, even Republican's respect him. He's made a lot of bad choices. Sure he cares, but caring by itself doesn't run a country effectively.

Because not everyone agrees with you. Obviously a different political party has different ideas and beliefs which is why they choose to vote differently. Those of us who didn't vote him in did this for a reason so since we didn't vote for him we have the right to speak against him.
