That is what came to my mind when I first read that..

The heart fixes itself. The phrase "being broken hearted" actually has some grain of truth within the medical association. Some people actually suffer a mild heart attack which is discernable on a Xray or MRI (don't know which ) after being very disappointed by rejection.

Did some research about it after a friend told me a story and that the docs did spot a mild heart attack.

But this is very short term physically and people recover; it is not like some real bodily disease. Just that the mind seems to have real power over the body.

Sometimes it's better to leave it alone and not attempt a repair - YOU'll still know that it has once been broken even if no one ELSE can tell from the outside. Just put it in a safe place and in a while you may find that although it's not the same as it was before, it CAN still function even if it's broken in part. Time hasn't made the break go away but it has enabled you to tolerate it sufficiently to carry on.

Break the outside and fix the inside.

You thrink yourself to microscopic size and use a teeny tiny submarine with a built-in glue gun. Course, you have to fiind a way out again once the broken thing is fixed. If it has a nose, that's your way. If we're talking about a vase or something, head towards the light!

You fix something that is BROKEN on the INSIDE with a lot of peace, love and understanding...and most importantly, tender, loving care from your friends and family.

If it's your heart , then that is fixed with the passing of time.It cannot be rushed and it cannot be bypassed. You have to suffer to recover. Everyone is different as to how long it will take, but know this, u will get over it. You may feel a slight ache now and then, because we all have scars.

You come to grips with the fact that some things just can't be fixed, and then you sit back and chill, and realize that it's a gift just to be alive, and that today... today is 4/20.
