After being glorified by the media and being shown as a big shot when his last act of terror (wanting himself to be aired) was obliged by the media, of course now there will be sick people who'll want to outdo him.
As disturbing as it is, we can't forget that there are a few people like Cho walking the streets right now.

I think so. In order to attract more customers media made Cho as a hero with the negative character. And thus all these stupid piece of **** psychos would like to be one of those. I really hope they would ban arms and if they can't ( because some chickens are so paranoid about their safety and they wont let the ban), we can still ban these automatic weapons and put some other kind of age restrictions.
The reason I am so mad about this is because those poor victims struggled all their lives to make their career, they had dreams but just because of these loop holes in the law they never made it and their families sufferred big time.

apparently someone in Texas has already threatened to smash the 'record' of 32 murders . i think all professors should have some firearm training, and a pistol locked in each classroom in a secure gun case.also heavy locking doors on each classroom. you cant legislate for madmen,/women(i don't like Mondays),but at least that might give the class a chance to 'take him out'.its got to be better than standing by the blackboard waiting for your turn to have your brains blown out.

Sadly, I think so. There'll always be someone who wants to 'do better' - but the news makers will always tell everyone the most attention-grabbing facts they can, so there's no keeping figures quiet for the sake of preventing someone wanting to be more famous than the last serial killer.

Yes. And this time the masses on YouTube, MySpace and even bobo, will all tune in. I can even see the advertisers clamouring to put on thier ads in between the reloading of clips.
Sad, but not unlikely.

The only reason that someone would do it is because it would make them famous and because people expect it now.
Make his name go away instead of feeding the whole thing. Teach people that mindless violence is NOT cool and that spread the names of those who died more than the name of their killer.
Remember the victims, not their murderer.

I hope no one will try and copy but 32 being the highest killing spree surprised me and no offence to americans but the media always makes it seem as if gun crime accounts for more killings by one person

Maybe...there might be someone who would want to beat this record...but it all starts with people these people being bullied...it has to stop! columbine, virginia tech, dawson college, all these killers were bullied earlier in life.
