Is the Santa Croce District in Venice a safe place at night to be walking around drunk?

yes, been there, done that! hehe Just watch your step and keep your wits about you. As beautiful as the canals are, I wouldn't want to fall into one........YUCK!

The reason you don't see many drunks in Venezia. Dead ends leading to canale=cadavers.
