LB Jon Beason, Miami. Kawika Mitchell is a nice pickup, but not necessarily the dominating LB that they've been searching for the last few seaons (Sorry LaVar Arrington, just didn't work out!). They need a guy like Anthony Gonzales, and it may be necessary for the Giants to draft two WR's in the draft, as there are so many talent ones available, and after Amani Toomer, you have no dependable WR's (Notice I did not mention Plaxico "I'll play a good game every other week" Burress - side note: it seems like when the Pittsburg Steelers don't overpay a WR to stay on their team, they get overpaid by their new team and suck like hell i.e. Randle El). Drafting offfensive line wouldn't be surprising either, Central Michigan T Joe Staley comes to mind. I'm not really liking the idea of Michael Bush as a Giant, because they already have two runners that are between the tackles guys. I think a change of pace guy like Northern Illinois' Garrett Wolfe would be great for them. He's a prototypical 3rd down back and can be used in the return game, another lacking area last year. Wolfe reminds me of a faster version of Dave Meggett.

As far as Manning, there's just too much pressure on him and he can't handle it. One he's a Manning, thats pressure in itself, and he's always going to be compared to his big brother Peyton, and two he's in a big market/media area in New York. Look how they've crucified A-Rod in the past. The Knicks consistent sucking and the Yankees World Series drought is the only thing that makes it easier on Eli Manning. Maybe you shouldn't have DEMANDED a trade. Maybe you shoulda been a Charger. Call Phillip Rivers and ask him how its working out.

They dont need a Running back anymore they picked up Ruben Droughns and they have Brandon Jacobs. For they LBs,. Kawika Mitchell is a nice pickup but I think Paul Posluszny is an upgrade. Other first round selections could be Levi Brown OT, Penn St and Joe Staley OT, Central Michigan, because they cut Luke Pettigout. If they draft Posluszny they should draft Justin Blalock OT/OG Texas in the 2nd round.

Michael Bush is a great pick, assuming he returns to full health. But I don't think he will be around in the 4th. My guess is he was a first round guy but when he had his latest surgery he dropped to the second round. With the limited number of RB's in the draft, and his size and athleticism... I doubt he'll last past the 2nd round.

I'm not sure I agree with the above answers, but I'm not 100% sold on Eli's mental toughness.

Eil IS still a very young guy. Yet, Vince Young is Young-ER still and performing very well.

So, I think the jury is still out on Eli, but drafting a QB would really be a blow to his confidence. So, it would probably do more harm than good.

I think we also need to consider a running back.

1st round Paul Posluszny, Penn State, LB, 6-1 236lbs, i agree with you that we need a corner but probable wait until the 3rd round and in the 2nd round the giants should adress their need at OL and in the 4th get a guy such as Garret Wolfe of Texas Tech or Darius Williams of Notre Dame.

With a QB as good as Eli ( I know all of you non-belivers do not agree ), you need better protection, a fast receiver, and a better running game. Yes the giants need a LB, but they are many. stick to building around your QB.

If all that happen, everything you say will be a steal and if they do good, they will be a beast. Yea I agree with you on what position they should get but the players i dont know about the players

Maybe you should get a QB. Eli looks worse every year.
