Yesterday I took a first response ovulation test and it detetected a LH surge, it said that i should ovulate 24-36 hours afterwards so to have sex in that timeframe. Now I took the test @ 2 in the afternoon so does that means 24-36 hours from 2pm? and do you think if I have sex tonight it will be to late? I also took another test this morning and the purple line was lighter than yesterday., does that mean its too late?

No, it doesn't mean it's too late. You sound like me I kept taking them after it was positive. Just b/c the LH surge is gone doesn't mean that you have ovulated... just the hormones that makes the egg release. When it says 24 - 36 hours.. you have to rember that after you do ovulate the egg lives about 24 hours as well. Also sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days.... so try asap! Also... lubricates kill some sperm.

Best of luck.

About 36 hours is average so you are probably ovulating or will ovulate today. The egg lives for 6-24 hours so get busy baby dancing!!!

yes, from the time you took it, that time frame applies.
you may have missed the window but try anyway, the egg may still be hanging around.
