I wasn't aware we had YouTube in 1999. I suppose it would be the first mass murder during the Youtube era, though I don't know if I'd call it a "generation," but that's just semantics.

That is the problem with instant access news 24 hours a day. The presenters have to fill the dead spaces with something.
Coming up with an inane piece of pseudo fact like that fits the job description!
But what a travesty to describe such a pitiful yet pitiless event in such a manner.
