the thermostat is located under the thermostat housing on the motor.follow the top radiator hose from the radiator to where it is attached the the thermostat housing on the motor.remove the radiator hose from the housing. remove the bolts that are securing the housing to the motor. the thermstat will be exposed.if you are going to replace it .make sure you clean both housing and block of old gasket and don,t overtighten.

Follow the top radiator hose from the radiator to the engine. The hose connects to the thermostat housing.
