Get all the sleep you can now. It will be a precious commodity after the baby is born.

Get some rest and go get a pedicure or a relaxing day at the spa. I know this is hard for some mothers (I being one of them) but when anyone offers their help to you ...TAKE IT!!! lol Also, pre-plan some meals like lasagna or baked ziti, casseroles, etc. and freeze them. That way when you come home you won't have to worry about cooking, just re-heat! :) Anything else I tell you, about labor and delivery, you will probably forget anyway, because at that time all you can think about is OMG I'M HAVING A BABY! Just remember to breathe slowly, the more you concentrate on your breathing the easier you can deal with contractions. Good Luck and congrats!!!

unless you are having a c-section or being induced the baby will decide when your due date is. before hand you can get your bags ready and put them in the car now (we forgot mine by the door). enjoy as much time with your spouse/boyfriend as you can now. sleep as much as you can. these things will be put on hold for a while after baby gets here. if you trust your dr fully and he knows you very well then it will all go smoothly. hot towels are great. they keep your vaginal muscles relaxed during birth so you dont rip as bad. a good coaching team keeps your focused and helps you get through it. in the end enjoy your baby

First off relax! Get as much rest as you can and enjoy the anticipation of your new baby.
Make sure your suitcase is packed for the hospital.
When the time comes don't panic, labour usually lasts a while.
When you go to the hospital please don't let anyone talk you into taking any meds you don't want. Be strong and remember your rights. A lot of times the nursing staff are so pushed for time they do try and talk you into taking morphine and gravol as it is less work for them. It slows down everything including the contractions dilation and the baby's heart rate. I made the mistake of allowing them to talk me into the meds and my labour lasted 30 hours.
By the way a good friend of mine teaches prenatal and neonatal nursing, She told me after the fact why nurses try to get you to take the gravol and morphine.
God bless you and your new little one.

Get lots of rest. Take a warm shower when you start to feel the contractions and before you water breaks to help you relax. Have warm towels in the deliver room to lie on your, well, nether regions. And cool towels for your forehead.

just know that your body is made to do this. did you know that a woman in full coma can deliver a baby vaginally? its true. you are in charge! not the doctor so follow what your body tells you to do. i had my daughter naturally in a hospital in a hot jacuzzi tub! its all about YOU AND THE BABY!

Enjoy the weekend, see friends and relax. Also remember that you will probably not deliver on Monday, so don't be too disappointed when Monday goes by. Congrats!!!

Have sex and lots of it!!! Semen contains the prostaglandin hormone, which is similar to the synthetic they use to induce overdue moms, this will help soften your cervix, and hopefully get your contractions started!!
