Yes it is... I answered this question before and another guy said that you only fly flags at half staff for those who died that seviced our country and dint see why the flags where beings flown half-mast. So i will answer it the flag is being flown at half-mast because it is a sign of mourning. It is the best thing the president and others could have done because it shows us that live around VT that it not only affected us but affected everyone. Its a sign of support and thank everyone that has supported VT in its time of despair.

Yes and I do believe they are to stay that way until sometime Sunday. And also, today is national "Orange and Maroon Effect Day" so everyone needs to wear some orange and maroon to honor the victims of this as well as family, friends and staff of Virginia Tech.
