Numerous people from the November AG adhoc meeting share the same memory of events. But Gonzo does not remember a thing.

So is he an idiot or a liar??? You Know, like his friend George.

There was a heckler in the audience with a scorecard. He would flip the number every time Reichwsfuhrer Gonzales said he didn't recall. He wound up at 71.

Gonzo is a means to an end. He's one of Bush's empty-headed personal friends that has been politically appointed to a job he is not qualified to hold like so many others in the administration. Because he is incompetent and dumb, he is a weakness that can be used to expose the greater evil hiding behind him.

An idiotic liar, like the rest of Bush's cronies that he is protecting. He was quoted as saying "I had knowledge that a process was going on" about the firings. But I guess Gonzo wasn't involved. Doesn't make any sense to me that the Deputy Attorney General was the one in charge, but not him.

Gonzo never was qualified to be attorney General. He was just another one of George's incompetent buddies.

I truly doubt that Gonzales’ memory is as bad as he is claiming. I think he knows very well how those decisions were made, who made them, when and why they did and all the details attendant thereto. Even assuming that his memory is failing, he has certainly had enough time to review records and refresh his recollection. The obvious conclusion is that he is lying.

George and Gonzo both need to go.

What kills me is that he claimed not to even remember that the meeting took place. I would think that he'd at least remember that, even if he doesn't remember the discussion word for word.

Something needs to be done about the Alzheimer's epidemic that the administration seems to be suffering from.

I question his mental capability to do his job if he cannot recall anything. He may not remember critical information.

I don't recall is what he needs to be saying. The Dems are only trying to catch him in a misstep like they did to Scooter Libby. They are wasting our time and money with endless investigations. You very well know what they are doing.
