LOVE ?!!?

I will. . follow you , will you follow me
All the. . . days and nights that we. . . know will be
I will.. .stay with you. . . will you. . stay with me
Just one. . . single tear in each. . passing year

With the dark. .. . . . I see so very clearly now
All my fears. . . . are drifting by me so slowly now
Fading away

I can say. . . . . The night is long.. . but you are there
Close at hand. . . . I'm better for the smile you give
And while I live

I will . .. follow you. . if you. . follow me. . . . . . .. . ... .

The hatred and lunacy has been waaaaay over the top lately !!

Man, this site has seen better days. . . . Where have all the flowers gone ?

Oh Earnest--

On a hot summer night, would YOU offer YOUR throat to the wolf with the red roses?

Add: I bet you say that to all the girls!

Earnest, you should know that just because they may sing a song of love and reason, doesn't mean they will EVER be reasonable. The same people singing about love INSIST on killing babies and will always fight to have a government which imprisons its citizens and kills those who want freedom.
The singers of those songs love Castro and Stalin and Pol Pot for they believe the collective value of the social state is far greater than individual freedom.
Remember the supposed unity after 9/11? It was NEVER there, the LEFT just realized it was time to shut up for a few weeks. In yesterday's newspaper, Harry Reid was crowing that this war was lost, maybe, but he and the Democrats lost it, not George W. Bush!

I like that mentality, bro. Unfortunately the very defining nature of politics is to be in conflict with one another. The politics section of this site would be a lot better if people who actually understood anything politics were the majority of the people who posted questions and answers, instead of the minority. People are getting heated over stuff they were taught to believe in, but plainly they never knew why and unfortunately they were never actually educated on any of it, so they blast their own horns, and if anyone questions the specifics of what they say, they resort to something that all people know inherently, bitterness. I'd love to see people who were both polite and knew something or ANYTHING about politics, but as a general rule we don't have people with either of those attributes on this site. 99% of the people who post in these categories are just rude drones, who mindlessly retort what they were told they ought to stand for, and they get very defensive and snippy if you expect them to actually know something about it, instead of just echoing the same cover-phrase over and over.

The eyes of a child -
The blush of a cheek -
A song that wafts on the breeze...

Memory of perfume -
A gurgling brook -
The bird who sings sweet in the trees -

All things, taken for granted
Like a kind word, helping hand,
Or the works of the young and the brave...

Until life is shattered,
None of it mattered -
Until the flowers - you take to the grave...

...Love is the only thing that lasts...
Thank you for reminding us.
Your poetry touched me...
sorry mine was so weak this evening...

Perhaps I should just quote Bob Dylan...

How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
Yes, 'n' how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, 'n' how many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they're forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many years can a mountain exist
Before it's washed to the sea?
Yes, 'n' how many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free?
Yes, 'n' how many times can a man turn his head,
Pretending he just doesn't see?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

In light of recent events - may we all look up into one another's eyes and show love instead of pretending we just don't see...

Peace dear one.

"Where have all, the Flowers gone,
Long time passing.
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever, learn?"

It's nice to see the Rock-n-Roll Reverend is back on-Duty. Hoping you're having a "Flower Day"?

"What the world needs now, is love, sweet love"

I agree. There is way too much hating going on right now. Don't even enjoy being on this site anymore. Rarely visit (and I used to spend all my time on here). Our opinions don't matter anymore, just fuel for the trolls.

I miss all of our suspended yahoo friends. I wish they would all come back to us. I guess we are no longer able to disagree with 9/11 conspiracy theorists.
