Has anyone had problems with them on covering pregnancy's.My DD is on our insurance and they didn't cover her pregnancy or birth of baby.Can they do this?We didn't find out they didn't cover it till baby was 6 months old.

why is it they refuse to pay for depent daughters?What do they expect the daughter to do when she is 16 and can't get her own insurance?

This is typical. Look in your health care certificate it will probably say something like "A dependant daughter's pregnancy, maternity care, and delivery are not covered." Also, the baby is not covered under the plan typically.

The insurance company expects that when she gets pregnant she should either get her own policy or go sign up for governent assistance--i.e. medicaid.
