yes maybe they should have showed the clips once or twice to give people a glimpse into what the kid was going through at the time but then they should have respectfully droped it for awhile.i mean when 911 happen didnt you just think they showed too much then.does the m3edia not have anyother stories other than virgina tec or trhe war.i mean cant there be other things wrong over here to focus on.

do you not care that the family and friends of these kids are getting hurt over and over again by having to see this on just about every channel they turn on.for example if say your father or mother died by being killed in someway would you want to see it on tv everyday or would you want it to go away so you can try to make sense of it/its the same thing.

I agree! They haven't had all the funerals and memorial services yet. The families need time to grieve and to try to move on with their lives and NOT be reminded every 15 minutes of the lost lunatic who killed their loved ones! NBC just wanted ratings and to make money! Shame on them!

Someone inevitably asks this question when one of these incidents or events occurs. And the answer is ALWAYS the same. The average life of any news story (at its heighth) is approximately 3 or 4 days, with the first and second day being the biggest in terms of viewers, readers, etc. If you are so tired of the coverage (which is now beginning to wane), then go busy yourself with something else.

I'm not tired of it (my prayers to the families of the victims). I'd like to hear about AG Gonzalez and more about the impeachment of VP Cheney.

It seems the media never backs off or has any respect. However; I rather see the friends and the coverage of any aspect of the massacre rather than watch Cho ranting and raving and giving him exactly what he wanted --television coverage. That's playing exactly into his hands albeit dead hands.

It's the nature of the Media.
When they get a hot button like that, they're going to ride it for as long as possible at the expense of anyone and everyone's emotions.
