When I usually get my nails done, I get them refilled about every two weeks. How you can tell if you need a refill or not, just look a the bottom of your nails(around the cuticles, or where they should be) and see if the nail is starting to come off. When you notice a gap you should get them refilled or take them off. I would personally not leave them on untill they fall off, cause I think that it looks tacky! But that is my opinion. I don't like getting fills just because it costs almost as much as getting your nails done, so i just take them off when they start looking bad and go get new ones put on..but i have gotten fills before and i got them about 3 weeks after getting them done

Every 2-3 weeks, or as soon as you can see your nail underneath growing.
