tummy muscles are dramatically stretched during pregnancy. crunches will help strengthen them and pull them back in...do them daily along with a little cardio. don't worry too much about the weight but more about how you look and feel in your clothes. with regular ab exercises, they should on average be back to normal within a month.

You really didn't gain that much weight so it'll come off sooner or later. Have you gotten the okay from the doctor to start exercising? Even if you haven't, you can go for a walk. Some women bounce back right away and for some it takes a little longer. I saw Tori Spelling on Jay Leno and she looked like a normal woman who just had a baby. We have this delirious idea that everyone bounces back like celebrities, which is not true!

Give yourself a break- It takes 9 months to put on weight - give it at least that and dont worry
you need time to adjust to the "baby lifestyle" first- then start reintroducing exercise- these first couple of months should be baby centered not weight centered

Well, some people lose it differently, but continue your healthy eating habits, and it will go away. Nursing really helps that as well.
