It is a nice phrase and as with all nice phrases it loses its poetic flow if translated word for word. So the best I could come up with is this:

"Самое трудное в привязанности - это уметь отпустить". (Samoe trudnoe v privjazannosti - eto umet' otpustit'.)
It says literally: The hardest (thing/part) in the attachment is to be able to let go.
It definitely sounds like words of wisdom or an aphorism if put like this. "Privjazannost" has the meaning of 'being attached to someone or something emotionally' in Russian.

I'll give you a more literal translation as well just in case:
Самое трудное в удерживании - это отпустить. (Samoe trudnoe v uderzhivanii - eto otpustit'.)
The hardest (thing/part) in holding on is to let go.
