That s^cks...and that is a LOT of nerve.
That's why I've got motion sensor lights...someone actually tried to steal my garbage can one night (how sad is that), but when he hit the sensor area & the light went on he booked leaving the garbage can in the middle of my driveway.
People are weird.

I put old toilets with skunks in them in peoples yards in the middle of the night but i have never stolen anything thats just wrong

I feel your pain. I've had the weirdest things stolen from my yard. My neighbor was throwing out an old iron banister and I asked him if I could have it so I could train my grapevine to grow on it. He left it in my laneway for me and the next morning it was gone. But the strangest one was someone stole the flowers out of my flower box one summer. WTF??? It's not like flowers are expensive!! Heck, if they had asked me I would've been happy to give them some seeds or cuttings but oooh noo they gotta steal it. My uncle suggested re-planting the flowers and adding some poison ivy.. I'm seriously considering it!

Awww, I'm sorry. You should at least file a report with the police, so if someone else turns up riding it, they can do something about it to prove it was stolen! :)

sorry to hear that, here that would happen the first night you leave it out, they take beat up charcoal grills, anything left out that could bring 5 dollars is gone and the money used for meth or crack, sad.
