My stepdad hit my mom should I go to the police?

When your stepfather isn't around talk to your mother about what's going on and how it affects you. Let her know that you have concern for her and you being around an abusive man. Ask her if she feels that the police should be notified because if he's hitting her he may hit you some day. Tell her that she's showing you that it's ok for a woman to let a man beat on her and not do anything about it and that just doesn't seem right. Tell her that you want to leave and you want her to come with you. Tell her that you and her need to find a safe haven where your stepfather can't find you. If you can't seem to reach your mother through conversation then talk to another relative and let them know what's been happening in your home and maybe they can talk to your mother. How about you tell your biological father if you have contact with him.

Yes, u talking about u mother, call the police or get some help because if something happen to u mom u will be regret for the rest of u life. Mom is only one, step dad a can be anyone. Remember that.

Call the police immediately. It will only get worse. Do not confront him, I know you will want to but it will just get you both beat more. Do not waste time. If there is ever a time he is gone get your mom and pack stuff and get ready to go, as soon as he is home call the police. I dont know the money situation but if you stay in the house however long hes in prison from he may just come right back so its not a good idea to stay. Hope this helps. It has already happened so what you should do is talk to your mom and let her know you don't like it and you are afraif for her and you don't want her to get hurt. Without warning if it happens again you call the police immediately without even thinking about it and have his behind put in jail. No one deserves to be hit and he is doing it in front of you (her child) he is so disrespectful. Let her know how you feel and God bless you :)

If you really love your mom, then you should seek some help. I don't get along wih my step dad, so of course if something would happen, i would take care of the situation. But think of the risk that you are putting yourself in, and think about your mom also. Just do what is right, think about it first.

first of all a man shoud not be hitting a women and if he does he is a jacka_ _ and i hate to see men hit women i hit men who hit women, you need to talk to your mother and explain if this is the first time and if it keeps continuning that you dont want to see this happen to her and that you will talk to the authoritys and report him and if its not the first time tell her to leave him because if he has done it once he will do it again and your mother does not deserve it and neither do you to see your mom get hit,and if you want tell your step dad that if he hits your mom again you will report him and will be asked to leave the house because its not right for him to be doing that, and if he hits you he will go to jail thats for sure! and if you need help just email me i would gladly help you and your mom. a concerned gentelman.

you should definitely call the POLICE, once men start hitting they dont stop .i think if you dont he might seriously hurt your mom and possibly you too dont wait to long better safe then sorry. good luck.
