Does it mean we feel it more or less than men?

In general women can bear a greater level of pain than a man. However, after working in an Emergency room for many years it ain't so in all cases. The tolerance to pain also has a strong ethnic factor. I listened to grown"Macho" men scream like a girl over an injury that a Asian kid doesn't even flinch about. I have seen gang Bangers cry for their mommies over a minor laceration 15 min.s after the killed someone in a drive by shooting. So, girls are tougher than what men give credit for. I, however am glad they have a soft side also.

I dont think there is any proof stating that Men have a lower pain tolerance then woman. Woman just experience pain more (periods, child birth) and Men seem to get whiney at the first sign of pain. Thats not to say that if you cut your finger off you wouldnt handle it better than a woman would. Through personal experience I can say that I am a wimp. If i cut my finger and see a speck of blood i will almost pass out, but i had a child with no pain medication. Totally different kind of pain. Good luck trying to prove/disprove your theory.

It means that women can physically tolerate 9x more pain than men can. In other words, we feel less pain than men do.

It means that the point where we can't take the pain anymore and want to die is more than a man's. It's primarily when giving birth is concerned. A man would prob ask for an epidural at the first contraction when the water breaks... :)

It means that mens pain receptors are much more senstive than womens, mostly that women can stand about 9X more pain than men, thats why we have the babies LOL

It means that women can handle pain better than men do ! It is a proven fact because there is NO WAY a man could endure the pain of child birth,so men out there hug your mom&wives!!!!!!

It means women are tough cookies, and men are panzies...JK. Yes, it is known that women can take alot more pain than men. A man would never be able to survive child birth for instance, women are just made that way.

It means women rule! Not sure if we feel it less, but we seem to have a different pain tolerance.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. All this talk of child birth that gets thrown in our face at every turn... sheesh! I've been constipated enough to know it would be a walk in the park (good going Oliver, that one should send out a homing beacon to feminists everywhere to round up for the kill! lol).

I'd love for a woman to experience getting kicked in the balls just once and see if she lived through it without writing a book about the experience and setting up a charitable support group to talk it out! lol

One thing I ask everyone, men and women (who are far more guilty of it in my estimation) to stop doing is to stop saying things like, "proven fact" or "studies show", to try and give credence to their particular nebulous assertions. If it's proven, show me where this proof is, okay? Proof indicates a body of work has been carried out on the subject and it's an open and shut case. If this is so I'd like you to provide me with the links to it. Don't SAY proof, PROVE the proof! ;-)
