D.

His administration as a whole has made the federal gov't more powerful, more intrusive and less responsive to the will of the people.

This administration is fraught with incompetencies, cronyism,
resignations, mistrust, stubborness misinterpreted as steadfastness, poor planning (understatement!), people given praise and awards that should have been indicted. I know that the Bush's are a patriotic family so I'm trying to see
a good side , but it's difficult.
I'd have to give him a little lower than the "gentleman's C's "
that he got in college............... C -
And I'll leave with this: "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a
job."

Mission accomplished!

What's lower than F? Zero? No credit.

Iraq- a report was given in 2002 before the war that debunked the admin's inference that Iraq and Al-Qaeda were linked

Patriot Act

saying "bring 'em on" referring to terrorists

Bolton-backdoor recess appointment to UN

- J. Cofer Black- the CIA guy in Africa (posing as a diplomat) in the 70s and 80s while we were complicit in apartheid. More recently, he headed the CIA’s counterterrorism center during 9/11 and is known as the guy who said “after 9/11 the gloves come off” and spoke in aggressive terms. Part of that “gloves come off” being the extraordinary renditions, hoods, diapers, etc.

Blackwater of course sketchily won all those government contracts and has it's own shadiness...
Gonzales and prosecutors
Gonzales and terror
Wolfowitz,Cheney-pushing for Iraq war (unjustifiably) in the midst of obvious business we had in Afghanistan
Wolfowitz-World Bank shame
Feith-virulent Zionist, suspected of passing info to Israel, and fast tracked WMD lies to the president
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douglas_Feith
Perle- another Iraq war liar
Negroponte-http://www.thenation.com/blogs/capitalgames?bid=3&pid=2203
He was appointed ambassador to the "new Iraq" and Director of National Intelligence despite his past
Brown-FEMA failure because he wasn't qualified; just mutual back scratching
Pipes- world's biggest bigot backdoor recess appointed to the US Institute of Peace of all things.
Rove- Valerie Plame scandal

There are so many shameful things about Bush and his admin it's hard to remember them all...
And after the scandal and admin members, there's policy to criticize....

I would say a "C+"

He at least has the chutzpah to stay in Iraq, even though most American citizens (who wouldn't know what a war was if it happened in their backyard) think they know more than he does and tell him to get out.
