in Feb i fell in the street and bent my thumb back, at first i thought it was broken, as i was in agony.
i went to the hospital and it was confirmed that it wasn't broken i had just strained the tendons.
since then, there is a lump that has come up (About the size of a pea) on my wrist, which i must stress doesn't hurt.
also my thumb still feels a bit sore if i try to clench my fist, at which i can only describe is like the tendon is being pulled.
ANY IDEAS??

Recovery from a tendon strain can take several weeks. Gentle range of motion exercises can help you regain the natural motion of the thumb.
You may have a ganglia cyst on your wrist. Read about these below.

strained tendons can take quite a while to heal - especially on something like a wrist which is hard to rest. Do some gentle movement exercises to keep things moving. It will slowly get better - I did this to my ankle about a year ago ripped every ligament - it took months to get completely back to normal. Not sure about the lump - could just be caused by the fall - just keep an eye on it - give it a couple of weeks. If it gets bigger to the Doctors.

I have the same pea-sized lump on my wrist, but it's because I have fractured/broken my wrist about 7 times. I've noticed that when the lump comes up the pain in my hand and wrist is unbearable. I had an x-ray taken in December and I was told I would need surgery to repair old fractures and to remove scar tissue. You might need to get an x-ray on your wrist. Good luck, as I know the pain you are in.

This could be totally unrelated...but i had a small pea sized lump on the inside of my leg, which didn't hurt at all. I was given antibiotics and it went away. That was in nvember and now its back with a vengence. It massive and so painful! I've been told it is a cyst and i have to go in to get it drained. if it comes back i have to go to hospital to get it surgically removed.
Get it checked out!

well I used to punch stuff a lot, and I got a small lump develop, but it went away after 3-4 months.
you must have ripped the tendon or something, it should heal with time.

Go back to docs and insist they look it and maybe get a second opinion, i had to do this when i injured my hand, they first said it was a fractured bone and slapped a plaster on my arm, it didnt feel right so i went back, turned out i had a dislocated hand and if it had set with the plaster how it was i would have one very misshapen claw right now!

i do hope nothings fractured or dislocated
but i doubt it cos
youd be in agony.
maybe its a wart? nah.
perhaps you jarred your finger.
can you bend it?
if youd strained the tendons then give it time...
but if you are really concerned check with your gp and he may schedule you for another x-ray of your hand.
take care :)

appears like you want to bypass again to fundamentals. and many the behaviour issues may be to do with quite a few issues, yet i might want to say a 10 minute hack isn't adequate, even even if it truly is on a daily basis. i might want to say even in basic terms 10 /quarter-hour on a walker or contained in the school may relax him first and get the silliness out of him as he might want to easily be feeling sparkling and attempting his luck at the initiating, and then a superb hack out after (20 minutes/1/2 hour) and then gradually longer. with reference to his reaction to the bit, again, get the silliness out of him formerly even questioning about getting on the line. And to be truthful, it appears like you adult adult males desire to bypass again to straightforward education with a view to get some verbal change again between both of you as he's a gentle horse and obviously does no longer pay interest to you. a common snaffle quite shouldn't problem him, or perchance a rubber one, except there are any dental issues or perhaps again issues. at the same time as i grow to be breaking in my 3 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous, this grow to be between the first issues that she struggled with, she continually tugged on the tremendous, chewed it, opened her mouth ('yawns'). in truth because it grow to be something very unusual for her, and she or he grow to be a very short tempered, good willed little mare. despite the indisputable fact that the in basic terms way i solved this grow to be by utilising a flash nostril band, and she or he ultimately were given used to it. yet common, in basic terms appears like straightforward education is seriously necessary, and some demanding love! solid luck x

Go back to the Dr. you don't want to let it go and run the risk of screwing up something as important as your hand.
