Why is this biased attitude from YA Team ?

Agreed, does it matter? And look you helped out 257 people.
the leader boards should be eliminated. I have seen more and more thumbs down to good answers and more thumbs up to bad answers. This isn't helping out those who need help. Or those who are searching for real answers.
Searching the web and copying answers isn't always the right answer. Research entails more than one web page or the top search page to find what you are looking for. Pages and combined experience is best. I have spoken with a number of top contribs over the past few weeks and most agree with the rating system not being a good idea.
Perhaps one should worry more about helping not "thumbs downing" the top contributors.

I think this whole 'top answerer' and league tables rather detract from the point of YA - helping out people who are really stuck.
Think about it this way: you're really helped out 257 people (and probably many more). What's more important - that, or a banner?

YAHOO!ANSWERS update the top 10 Answerers on daily basis and are you sure you have 257 best answers in PETS>FISH section. I feel there may be some mistake in this figure otherwise definetely you should come up within top 10 answers. Please check up this figure of 257 answers. You can write to Yahoo and they will rectify it. I had happened earlier too.
However I find from your POFILE page you have been shown as TOP CONTRIBUTOR - FISES. -

Didn't you see people like Magicman have 1929 best answer and counting? What's 257 compare to 1929??
That's why there's many times when I see questions that have his 'face' & name, I'll just give up and skip up answering. You just can't compete with him.
We are on foot chasing someone who's are on wheels-the fastest wheels!! Haha. Don't have to be so serious about these points lah.

the fact that you see this as a competition is was is ammusing me, are you going to get any real reward or money for showing up on the top 10? It's like myspace, do i really think that you are cooler if you have 10,348 friends? None of it matters, what matters is that you are smart enough to help out so many people and you have the label "top contributer" to show it. people know that they can trust your asnwer as a good one when they are in need. Be happy that you have that trust.

I don't know. At the top of my screen it just said I'm the top fish answerer, yet I know there are plenty of people, including yourself and of course magicman, that should be there.

It counts only the best answers within the section, not your entire total. So if you have 50 from another area, such as Reptiles, they don't count in Fish.
