Americans like to think we are the only thing keeping the world together. To say that we are is highly ignorant and ethnocentric.
the dark ages were synanomous with war, disease, corrupt religious figures, and utter chaos. I don't think that america is utter chaos, but we seem to be locked in never ending war, many americans cannot afford health care, and religious figures (especially the hypocritical ones) are playing a much larger role in our society.
the EU and the UN are the wall seperating the world from the dark ages.
creative question!

I feel that America is already causing the rest of the world to go into the next set of Dark Ages. The rest of the world is already there.

Unfortunately America is entering its own little Dark Age. There used to be at time scientists were respected. Today, some cons have no respect for them. The facts don't fall their way so they accuse them of being liars just looking for money.

Probably so. America has been a huge "brain drain" on the world for some time now. Unfortunately, we're having to deal with some problems from that now.

America is probably the precursor of the Dark Ages or the leader to it.

It has spent billions to ensure the dumbing down of its citizens.

Just check out the national grade point averages, grammatical content and spelling online, the most popular TV shows and the focus of major media and magazines (not to mention lifestyle and healthful habits)

If that don't spell 'Dark Ages' I don't know what does.

Sure looks the the tribes are gathering, yelling "New caliphate" and forbidding any questions.

Could be time to secure the boarders. (?)
If that is the case, then the borders (no ?) / walls, are not physical, because we have opted for the North American union, (as an example).

Well it really depends in which world a person lives in. The world of reality like most of us or the world of fantasy such as the hollywood types & libs.

No, I don't think so. We should be setting an example of the benefits of a free society, not trying to force freedom on those we disagree with.
