LCD HDTV!!!!

Plasma is almost obsolete, plus it has a limited life expectancy as the plasma wears out, or something like that. Either way, HDTV is the way forward, until something better comes out.

Will shop the solutions short: - want and decide for liquid crystal show at any cost. greater useful technologies and greater useful high quality. Plasma has subjects of heating up and getting burnt out. All manufacturers are making an investment greater on LCDs. - i could placed manufacturers in 3 categories - A- Sony and the likes, B- Samsung, Sharp, LG and the likes, C- Acer, Vizio and the likes. A is the suited in high quality however the costliest. C is maximum inexpensive yet high quality isnt sturdy and destructive aspects are intense. So Samsung or Sharp could desire to be the suited manufacturers to wager the cost for money.

uh....Plasma is in HDTV... What are you asking.?
HDTV reffers to a resolution level, which is has achieved by several Technologies, CRT, Plasma ,LCD, and DLP.

CRT - Great Picture, No Burn in, Bad viewing angle, Very Large in Size. Very reasonably priced

Plasma - Great Picture, Best "Black" capabilities Potential Burn in, Good viewing angle, but typically light can cause a glare on screen. Very thin. typically only in larger sizes, moderately priced.

LCD - Great Picture, Blacks tend to be more Grey, Extremely Bright, Good Viewing Angle, No Glare, Burn in Potential, Very Thin, Available in may sizes, moderately priced.

DLP - Excellent Picture, No Burn in, Excelent Blacks, Best for overall picture quality, typically only in larger formats, very reasonably priced for size. less than 20" deep (typically more like 15") but not "thin"

Here the order of resolution from lowest to highest

480
480P - Progressive scan
720 - Lowest level to be considered HD
720p
1080i
1080P

Hope this answers your questions.
