"Hippies" are so excited about today being 4/20 because the Police use the code 420 when they report the finding or presence of marijuana at a crime scene or in some ones possession.
So as an act of resilience on 4/20 a lot of people smoke marijuana. 420 has also become slang for time to smoke pot.

4-20 was started by Jerry Garcia and stands for the international pot smoking time. It's not just hippies. Why would you call the police? For one thing, pot is much less harmful than all the drugs going around now. Have you ever heard of any crimes committed because of pot?

i like the hippy clothing type, the music, the life type, i think of that's incredible... i think of, IMO, hippies are people who choose for to be unfastened and organic; they're gentle, inventive human beings. they like music that has feeling to it. they have a bohemian form of life type. sometimes they're passionate with regard to our surroundings, or maybe although they do no longer do the peace sign to everyone who'll seem, they do choose for international peace lol!
