I'm not too sure about single people, but coming from a woman with a child, I can honestly say that helping out with the little things around the house, things that everyone takes for granted because they always get done, that they forget the time it takes to do them. Doing a load of laundry. Running the dishwasher, or putting them away without being asked. Running a vacuum, even quickly, over the living room floor, or making the bed when I'm not looking. A ten-minute foot or backrub that doesn't end in you trying to get into my pants. Putting the kids to bed, or making sure I get to eat a meal while it is still hot. It can be any one of a hundred little things, but mostly, it's something to show that you remember what I do for you, for us, and why I do it, and performing a little act of love.......without having to beg for it.
