Such a good driver while at Chip Ganassi, whats happened to him???

I dont follow the IRL like I used to, im an F1 man so Ive forgotten but Vasser was a good good driver so whats he up to at the moment? (if anything)

he stayed with cart/champ car he retired from driving and is co-owner of the PKV racing team

The last guy pretty much summed it up. He is a Champ Car owner with PKV racing. I believe his last win was in Champ Car in 2002 at California Speedway. He raced one year after Jerry, Paul, and Kevin bought Champ Car, and that was his last year (the guys listed above are the current owners of Champ Car). If you watch a Champ Car race on TV, you might still catch a glimpse of him as a team owner. You won't see him at an IRL race, unless his team decides to enter a car into the Indy 500 (and I doubt that will happen, but I've seen stranger things happen).

Jimmy owns car dealerships in Northern California. Not sure why he is not currently racing.

I miss him though.

He just isn't good anymore. He has had problems with his car and his teams. He hasn't started since 2006. He needs to retire.

He is now the co-owner of PKV Racing.
