No, the people you're talking about only recite the facts which suit their political agendas.

You might be onto something here Mike, but you really need to do better than a table comparing average temps between planets which is not an accurate indication of average temperature (none of the values contain error margins or indication of rounding). You'd need to show what the 1990 data really looked like. I'd be surprised if it wasn't included in graphical form similar to the fourth report somewhere later in the FAR document. Is there a reason why you have chosen this particular chart? Did you scan the FAR and couldn't see a depiction of average global temps? Or was this the only reference used on a denialist blog? I would be really interested to see a meaningful comparison of the data, but at this stage it is not compelling.

You guys sure love to play with statistics. You remind me of the story about the two accountants who drown crossing a river with an average depth of six inches.
While the "global temperature" is interesting it is hardly the only factor affecting weather. Besides, there are damn few phenomena including anything man does that can have a dramatic effect on the temperature of the earth especially in a short period of time. Global temperature increases are much more likely due to solar activity. Especially since other planets in our solar system are experiencing the same thing.
Look, when you see wealthy liberals parking their limos, suv's and private planes, when you see them closing off large sections of their mansions and turning off the lights, that is when you should start to worry. For you see, global warming or not, the people blaming man for it know darned well that it is not the case.
You really seem to believe it. Have you made any changes to your lifestyle as a result? They why haven't they? All they intend to do is keep up their jet setting lifestyle and buy "carbon credits" . What a scam.

Do liberals know that temperatures cycle up and down over time and never are linear?
Look, I'm all in favor of the "protect the environment" stuff--it's all good, and almost all of it makes economic sense as well as environmental... but you don't have to drum up ghosts of fear to convince people. Stick with the truth, it works every time.
How do you explain this past winter? Snow in Los Angeles, for example? And last weekend we had snow in Kansas City, too...
GLOBAL WARMING LOGIC: "This morning it was 55 degress... now at noon it's 70 degrees... that's an increase of 15 degrees every 5 hours... it's going to be 145 degrees by noon tomorrow!"

Yes. According to a concensus of scientists the average global temperature has dropped by .5f over the past 150 years, this means that (according to the proponents of global warming(I.E. Treehuggers)) that the earth has gotten warmer.
At least this is how it keeps getting answered by Libs

So what is the question again. Earth right now is not even close to being as warm as it was when the Vikings were able to settle Greenland. This whole global warming scam is a chance for scientists to get billions in grants and politicians to take more control over our lives. Only the insane and co-conspirators know this.

Do you know the difference between science and political agenda?
I do not deny that there are temperature shifts and climate changes on the Earth and other planets, but my God, this issue is being over-exploited and jammed down our throats all for political gain. It has become a sick, twisted cult-style religion and it is not even laughable anymore; it is downright ridiculous.

I have no doubt there is a warming trend happening. I have no doubt that human activity contributed to it.
I do have doubts, however, if there is anything that can be done about it at this point. Man may have pushed a snowball off the top of a mountain, which may be unstoppable.
I just wonder if, at this point, we should concentrate on prevention or prepare for the new conditions. Would spending resources on prevention of an unstoppable event be a waste? Or, is this a case of we made our bed now we must lay in it?

Yeah, I do...... So what? The global warming thing is over blown hype. A volcano could go off today and spew enough materals to cool the Earth as it did when Krakatoa went off. Hell, in a few thousand years the Sun will go supernova and burn us all to dust any way.
