It sounds like a step was made in the right direction. I am positive that great changes are on the horizons. Maybe woman will start using birth control instead of excuses.

I hope so. I still can't understand why people think it's ok to kill a child just because it hasn't passed through the birth canal yet. But it will be abolished, it's just a matter of when. And I hope for democrats sake they realize that it's no longer a women's rights issue, it's a right's issue for the child as well.
I'm a registered democrat and I vote at every election, including state and local ones. But I'm pro-life and every time I vote for a pro-choice democrat it breaks my heart a little.
However you can't vote on one issue, and the republicans are wrong on everything else so... for now I wait for my party to realize they aren't protecting women's rights like they think they are, they are violating infants rights :(.

Abortion will be done as long as Man walks on this earth, HOWEVER it is MURDER. It is also a Man made Law, NOT GOD'S. It will be abolished at the Return if Christ, and EVERY CHILD MURDERED will be at Christ's side to hear the punishment of those who did this to them. I do not think that through Common Sense that the ones who Murder their Children do not take into account, not only are they murdering their child, BUT every person who would be BORN THROUGH that Child as well. For those who support this, DO THE MATH. I will give you a hint. Say a child had 4 children, and those 4 children had 4 children, and those 4 children had 4 children, and so on. Get it, are your eyes open now?

Once Congress opens the door reversing laws on their way to Roe V Wade it is possible. As if all the years and tears are just washed away. What about Iraq? Why all the distractions. Fix that first.

Abortion is the biggest reason republicans win anything. It's what gets all the relgious fundamentalists out to vote. The second way they win is with their tax lowering promises, so the rich people get out their check books for campaign contributions.

Abortion is sometimes the right answer especially if the pregnancy is going to kill the mother. I'm not for abortion as birth control, but I do ultimately think that it is the woman's choice if she wants to carry her rapist's baby to term. I do think it's the woman's choice if she wants to carry her brother, or uncle's, or father's baby to term because she was the victim of incest.

If you don't agree with abortion -- don't have one!

Everyone is entitled to Choice.....personally i am not for abortion but i do believe that in some medical circumstances it becomes an option. Maybe if young people were better educated from schools and parents about sex we would not have such high abortion numbers.

yep, it's a NEOCON world we're living in. Pretty soon I'll get fined for having an anti-war bumper sticker.
