Does this massacre show the world that all Americans should be feared and not trusted? If we think about it, the US have detonated 2 atomic bombs, invaded numerous countries, killed most of their native indian population, brought the world to the brink of nuclear holocaust, created biological weapons, increased world pollution, harboured and supported dictators and brought about the rise of Al Queda through the promotion of arms in the Middle east.

What do you think?

I fear no one because of their country of birth. I think that the American Government needs to look at their gun laws, that the populous access to guns is alarming. Why does the "Average Joe" need a gloch nine millimeter anyway? No wonder kids are killing people. I think that they need to realise the "the right to bare arms is out dated in 2007. How many more massicar's will it take before they realise that if they want to uphold that part of their constitution then they need to have relevant laws to protect their people. The right to bare arms should come second to the right to feel safe in one's own home and the right to walk freely without fear of harm should be upheld far more strongly than the right to own a gun.

Just my opinion

Well I think you're over analyzing it a little. But to answer your question I do believe anyone is capable of doing what this Cho guy did. We all have potential to be and do what we want to do and what our heart desires. I'm a person that believes if you want something bad enough, for the most part, you will get it. He wanted badly to hurt others and hurt himself. And he got what he wanted. The reason why everyone in America doesn't go kill every person that piss them off is because most sane and normal people in America knows that despite what others may say or do to you sometimes you just have to let it go and move on. This guy is clearly disturbed. He held grudges against pretty much everyone. My heart goes out to all the victims family. This tragedy may not be as personal to me as those people but nonetheless makes me appreciate everyone that I love and have in my life right now. That compassion is also what makes this country not kill each other.

I think you have been listening to to many left wing or Islamic propaganda broadcasts. The two atomic bombs were a blessing as they brought an end to a savage war that projected another million American military casualitys or injuries, plus a large percentage of the Japanese civilian population would die. The surrender of Japan released over 300,000 prisoners of war that would have suffered terribly under the Japanese military rule. Your righteous denouncment of the bombing means you would have prefered the death and destruction that would have occured had the bombs not been used, that makes you kind of cruel and heartless dosen't it. We have not recklessly invaded other countries but since you feel any invasion is wrong I can only assume you believe that police should not enter a house or private property to arrest criminals and protect non criminal people. Is that correct?
. The cold war was real and it was for global domination. We used allies where we needed them but you feel we should never do business or have allies that do not follow your liberal rules of righteousness. I also feel that it is safe to assume that you do however support murder for convience since you did not mention Abortion and the slaughter of innocents in the womb as one of America's great evils.
Could you explain why America the evil helps people and countries all over the world, like after the sunami that hit Indonesia, Malasia, and Thailand or the tremendous amount of food and aid America has sent to drought ravaged Africa. You must also feel it was evil (American) to rebuild Europe and Japan after the war. Islam and Arabs supported the Nazi war efforts that must make them saints in your eyes.
I think you should stop listening to to America's and your (yes your) enemies.

I think that every man should examine himself for all past, present and future tansgressions. I also thing that that V-tech gut might as well had of been bush with a gun vs our troops in iraq. We loose more than 45 troops monthly and he send about 200 over monthly we shoul have over populated iraq by now but no bush is so fueled excuse me determined to make his pockets fatter especially since his son is showing no interest in running for office so the saga is over in 08. At this point if bush wanted osama he could have him but money is the root of all evil and bush wants the whole damn tree. As Americans we have that inner rage and we also have a invisiable button that basically says don't touch here or do not press. People don't believe the warning so they do it and events like that are just a reminder of how stuff can go from 0 to total massacre in 4.1 seconds. I think things will get better in the near future and things like this should not happen with out many warnings signs

No the Va-Tech killer was an insane murderer, while the Americans were lead down the shadowy path by equally shady politicians. Now these politicians might not pass a test for rationality.

The killer was a Korean, not an American. The asker of this question is disgusting vermin, and should stop telling lies because he hates Americans. Funny how America protects the right of this trash asking this question to tell such lies because Americans know the truth will prevail no matter how much irrational hatred is spewed from jerks like the person asking this question.

We are a very violent people, domestically and internationally. The big problem is we have been lied to over and over about what our govt has done in our name, allowing people to embrace our violence as life-enhancing.

It's a compliment that our govt has to lie to us to use our military in the nefarious ways it does. It's no compliment how easy it is to lie to us, though.

Keep in mind that some of the greatest things to come to civilization have come from America, too. We're the yin and yang society.
