Hmmm. If having your picture in the paper for being in a Beautiful Baby contest in 1974 counts....then yes!

Ohh and I was on the news once when my inlaws house burnt down in a bush fire and only my baby and myself were home. That sucked though coz all my clothes got burnt (not the ones I had on of course...I got out of there with my kid just in time) and I looked like crap!

I was on Playschool when I was about 6; they came to our school at Easter and I had to make an Easter bonnet out of an old margarine tub and crepe paper - classy!
I was also randomly in the magazine Caravan Monthly when I worked as a veterinary nurse! A couple who took their caravan all over Europe got their dogs chipped for the new pet passport thing that came a while back in and the magazine did an article on it, complete with a photo of me holding one of the dogs!
Form an orderly cue if you want my autograph - I know all that fame is a bit overwhelming!

Unfortunately, yes.
I was in the audience of that extremely popluar gameshow, Whittle (OK, noone has heard of it!) where the audience members were the ocntestants - we all have pads to pick a/b/c/d answers and if you got it wrong you had to stop and the winners carried on till there was 4 of them or something. Well first game, i wrongly answered the question what animal is an eider - who knew its a duck? And the host picke don me to mock me for not knowing. In the 2nd game, i wasnt in the final 4, but noone in the final 4 got the answers right so (as everyone in the audience was answering this question for fun) i won £25 for getting it correct! That was spent in the pub that night!!
Exciting huh? No, I don't think it is either!!!

I was a public speaker at a D.A.R.E program engagement when I was in elementary school.. it was on the news, but that was only about 1-2 minutes of fame... maybe I still have another 13 minutes in the future?

I sure hope it is not my obituary.. but I am happy to lay back out sight. last month I was in Fla. I am a scuba diver the Coast Guard called for diver assistance immediately there
were 4 divers in the water at a wreck at the Spiegel Grove
near Key Largo..We went . we were nearby.one diver surfaced, but the
other three did`nt . I went down with another diver and
found a diver floating at the entrance of the wreck with
his mouthpiece out and his weight belt off we took him
up he died . they told us not to go back down . the name
of our boat was used in communications .. and when we
got back to the docks TVcrews were there asking what I saw ..the next day Islamarada fire rescue team went in and retrieved the other two.

Yes, it was televised (locally). I played a solo on a flugelhorn (like the one Chuck Mangione plays) in front of 15,000 people at a marching band competition (back when I was a freshman in High School). Great memories, thanx for letting me dig that up.

when i was in 11th grade me and a friend saw a news crew filming in the neighborhood so we walked up and asked if we couls be on tv and they said yes. later that night we got our parents together to watch the news so they could see us on tv too and it ends up they were doing a special about the adolecent crime rise in the area and about teen gangs and what not and made it seem like we were walking down the streetwith guns in our coats, getting ready rob somebody or something and they called us hooligans. it was kinda messed up but pretty funny at the same time.
