Only if Grace is eating with us. Then I say, "Grace, time for dinner!"

I say grace before dinner when I'm home....I've said grace once (that I can recall) at a restaurant last year when an uncle was visiting. He's very religious and in the middle of the restaurant, we all bowed our heads whilst he blessed the food & thanked God for it.

I say "thank you" always, not just before dinner, but before every meal and even in restaurants. The idea after all is to thank God for the food He is providing.

i flow to anticipate that their heads may well be bowed and consistent with probability their eyes closed, so as that they does not probably even see in case you probably did not stick to tournament. in case you desire to not pray, then stay silent out of appreciate for their wanting to attain this. maximum individuals, which incorporate your pal, are actually not likely to commence a dinner table communicate on whether you prayed or not. Now it could arise later - after which you would be able to pick to particular what ever your emotions are for what ever reason. Me in my view? I pray, because of the fact I understand that i did not have a evaluate making and designing the nutrition we consume - if something, i will plant a seed and desire for the excellent. which you would be able to me, there's a remarkable individual who has the expertise and records to have created such so as that existence can proceed on earth. in case you have a Bible, that is nice to to look up Acts 17:28 - "For by potential of him we've existence and flow and exist..." i exploit that factor to thank him for my existence and all that has been provided to make it friendly and feasible. If my ideals are actually not the comparable because of the fact the others on the table, i will silently address the author with my very own ideas of affection and gratitude.

No I don't, But, I really should be grateful and be more aware of how lucky we truly are.
Its only when the $hit hits the fan that we realise how good we really do have it..
I think it a beautiful thing and a positive thing to say Grace and I respect that.

*hangs head in shame*...

no i dont.. but my mom ALWAYS does.. thing is we dont all sit down and eat at one table... so usually its only my daughter and lil bro who will eat with my mom - the rest of us are scattered all over the house. Tis however strange how i ironically may sometimes lead grace at other people's houses - just not mine..

very bad.. Forgive me father for i have sinned...

tsk tsk..
