First off, I don't mean to be crude. Second, this question tackles a little bit about sex and sex education.

First off, does anyone get pregnant without penetration under the premise of the guy masturbates with his hand and probes a finger (on the you know what)?

Next, do sperm cells die when exposed to oxygen?

And what's a rough estimate for the amount of sperm cells in the event of impregnation?

Cutting things off, yes, these answers are very important seeing as I've gone through it. See, here's my problem, I had my last period the end of March and I'm normally late with the cycle--around a month late. I went on a vacation for an entire week without my boyfriend (no sexual contact whatsoever) and a week and a half after that, I'm experiencing mild breast tenderness.

I know I'm getting a little bit paranoid however, I'm not used to the fact that if it is, indeed, PMS, it's a week or two early. It's been unbearably humid recently however, does that have anything to do with it?

Firstly - yes it is POSSIBLE to get pregnant in the way you suggest but it is unlikely.
Second sperm cells do die when exposed to oxygen but not immediately. I am not sure of their lifespan in this condition.
Thirdly - it only takes a single sperm for pregnancy to occur.
My advice is never take the risk. If you have sex always use protection. If you are heavy petting again take common sense precautions (ie wash after your b/f has ejaculated & BEFORE he touches you with his hand.
As for your particular situation - it could be that you are indeed being paranoid & are late due to worry & stress. There is only one sure way - take a pregnancy test - easy & effective (available in chemists).
Good luck - hope all works out well for you

Yes, it is totally possible to get pregnant that way. As long as the sperm is deposited near the opening of the vagina, they can swim up. They are not very hearty and that would be a REALLY long swim for them. It's hard enough for them to get to the egg when they are released inside, but that's another story. Also, the sperm can live for up to 7 days when they are planted near or around your vagina.
Sperm cells do die when exposed to oxygen, but not immediately. Again, when put in the 'right' place, they can live.
I'm not sure what you're asking about a 'rough' estimate. It only takes one sperm cell to fertilize an egg. That one could be released with millions of duds or millions of other healthy competitors. It just depends.
Personally, I've never had early or intensified PMS symptoms in humid weather. I do know that humidity makes people swell a little and if you're retaining water, that could make it worse, but beyond that, I've never heard of that.
Good luck to you.

Sperm usually die quickly when not in a warm environment.
