Reports are coming out about some Heroic acts surrounding the Shooting at Virginia Tech Campus. So it got me to thinking that there are Heroes in everyday life. It doesn't have to be a tragedy. For someone to make a diffeence in someone's life.
What have you done, or seen happen. That you would deem an Heroic Act?

Don't be moddest. I know you've had the chance. And you've came to the aid of a total Stranger. Without regard of your safety. I'd like to hear about all of `em. No matter how long ago

For The Record: Ol' Buzzard, saved a 4-Year old from drowning. About 5 Years ago. A Young Mother had walked up onshore. And left her child on a float. I saw The baby fall in. And I swooped in like Superman! Made me feel good too.

There is a HERO in all of us...I am not going to list my deeds cause it would seem conceited of me to do so. I do what I can for others in any way that I can. When I was a young girl, I did save my older sister from drowning. That's all you need to know.

But, when tragedy strikes you will be surprised at how you don't think HERO...you just act!

helping old people climb stairs
and give my seat to the older and pregnant

but i never call it heroic act.
