Its not about the religion , its all about the individual and their commitment to their religion .
Ask your self this question, how many people you know that are Christians and do go to church more often and as required in the bible ? ...very little !
Am not a christian, am a Muslim, and Christianity came before Islam ...but because people didn't follow it right and started changing it as they wish ...Islam Came !.
Am not saying Muslims are perfect ..and Christians aren't . what am trying to say is that, I've witnessed a lot of people who made a lot of disagreements and fights about this issue and they are practicing their religion as they should...
I believe every person should make sure that they are committed to their religion before wanting others to be perfect !
Finally , after reading some people's answers to this question..i think that they really need to go to a mental hospital and get a treatment for themselves so that they can learn to answer this question with more respect to others religion weither it was Christianity or Islam !

Why the religion? The religion it self is the way (road), which direction you choose as long you committed to is your problem, not everybody problem. But sometimes people use the religion to get something. Political purpose, money, position, and decision making. It's easiest way to get something when other people have similar perspective. Even to degrade some one is not our rights. I'm not the judge nor the jury..Thanks for questioning.

If there's one thing I've learned from Y!A,no it doesn't.
There's something else I've learned here.I like to call it the circle of the other two are wrong,I am correct. It includes Christians,Atheists and Muslims.
Muslims are the least likely to attack and are more on the defensive.Atheists are always on the offensive, rarely on the defensive, and Christians are about equal on both fronts.
Atheists think muslims and Christians are weak minded,Christians think Atheists are heathens and the fact that muslims see Jesus as a prophet outrages them.Muslims think Christians are idol worshippers and think Atheists are crazy kaffirs.
And they all think they're right.

I find that people who need to attack others religions are obviously not secure in there own. If they where why does it bother them so that others have a different view.
I have nothing against any other faith and never post questions or give responses putting other religions down. What would be the point of that? What does it achieve? Not a heck of a lot of anything but growing intolerance and hatred.

It's insecurity. The only way they can make themselves look better is by making someone else look worse than they are. In here, that means attacking the religion. If they had such strong faith in what they believed to begin with, they wouldn't be degrading others religions. They wouldn't have to....
Go get em! =)

haha...this is a very good topic. i think that if you look down on a religion to make urs look better. ur kind of doing the opposite...ur making urs look even worse. religion isn't just about going to heaven...it's how u get there. little things liek this matter, you can't be rude to other religions...that shows how low you r and how low ur religion is. so ,a word to the bullies: do me and everyone else on here a favor and stop it. because no one cares for such a rude comment and it makes you look low moral & status-wise. thanks for the topic...i think it's very important...especailly on y!answers b/c of all the uninvited jerks. :-)

Okay, what is supposed to be happening is a search for the truth. And yes the truth CAN be known. To ridicule or degrade someone is no way helpful.
I think when someone takes offense, their pride is hurt, they see maybe they've been duped, etc. It happens to everyone sooner or later.
Also, the purpose (I would hope) is not to make their own "look good".

People who do this feel superior to those who don't believe like they do, and they're not the least bit interested in what others have to say. There's always a double standard, which I personally hate.
I have no patience or time for "superior" people, regardless of their beliefs.

The man who degrade others religion is really ignorant of both the religions. 1. the one he profess 2. the one he degrade. Ignore them.
