It's part of the game we all play while living in this society.

We want them because of the challenge and the belief that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. The sad thing is that after we got this person nine times out of ten we wouldn't want them. We just build up this fantasy in our mind.

Yeah I've asked myself that question b4. I have no idea!. Maybe it's because we picked it up when we were babies/kids. When you see little babies or toddlers play to together, they get really upset when another child takes their toy. When the other child gets that toy, soon after they are disinterested with it and drop it and go looking for another toy that someone else has. Sort of makes sense huh?. Thanks for asking because I've always wanted to know and never really thought about it till now.

I agree with the other answers given here. People naturally want the "chase" for the things they desire. If it comes too easily, then you don't value it as much. I just hope you're not desiring a married guy!

Because we all think the grass is greener on the other side.......it is usually just the same when you have been over to that side for a while.

No matter what you have, you always want the one you couldn't get. Doesn't matter if you're collecting coins, McDonald's Monopoly game pieces, or lovers.

It's when you give up, turn the other way, find someone else, move on, and least expect it, that they will notice you.

But by then you'll be on to someone else.

C'est la vie!......
