Yes..I did it today..but I went to pool and got 2 hours of sun while I did it..I have blonde hair and it makes it even blonder and takes the iron brassy lookout too. I love it..
AND IT DOES NOT FRY YOUR HAIR IT MAKES IT STIFF WHILE ITS IN IT BUT AFTER YOU WASH IT OUT ITS VERY SOFT AND NICE AND LIGHT!! DDONT KNOCK IT TILL YOU TRY IT I USE LEMONS ALL THE TIME...DONT USE SUN=IN IT WILL MAKE YOUR HAIR ORANGE..IT HAS CHEMICALS IN IT..and please try to stay away for the chemicals it will in fact ruin your hair..good luck hun and be safe .

I have only had limited results with lemon juice, and yes you need to sit in the sun with it in your wet hair. For the most part it just fries your hair. The best way that I have found to lighten your blond tresses is "sun in". Just spray it in and go about your day. It works faster if you spend some time in the sun though.

If you sit under the sun it makes it lighter. But in general it is good for hair, even if you don't sit in the sun, because it lowers the PH that rises from shampoos etc.

be careful.....the lemon juice and the sun combo could actually make your hair brassy. i would check with a professional stylist first before you end up with multicolor hair.

adding lemon juice to your hair will lighten it but you but you do need to be in the sun (with no hat on) for this to work. simple apple to hair and sit in the sun and your hair will become naturaly lightened.

it depends on the color of your hair

blond hair = lighter

brown hair = more red tones
