Lawyers of intelligent minds are on the Supreme Court of Justice. You are against their rulings yet you are only an ordinary citizen asking question in this Section. Wait until you become one among the lawyers, then protest it basing on your intelligence.

No matter what I feel about abortion in the first two trimesters, partial birth abortion is murder. The child is in the world and is killed just before the whole body is removed from the world. I have read a lot of secular history and can remember no more barbaric customs in any society. How a Dr of medicine can do this assisted by nurses is an abomination.

The Bush administration has tried so hard to hide the facts on this issue, it's unreal. Of the 1.5 million abortions performed in this country, about 150 are partial birth. And those are performed only to save the life of the mother or because the fetus is not viable.
Even the so-called ban is laughable. It prohibits only one method by which these procedures are performed. There are others available.
The right wing-nuts grabbed hold of a non-issue and turned it into an emotional, knee-jerk war, and anybody who buys into it has been played in a major way.

This is what partial birth abortion is:
The abortionist grabs a limb of the unborn baby with forceps, and starts to pull it out.All of the baby, except for the head,is delivered. The abortionist then gets a pair of scissors, and jams them into the base of the baby's skull. The scissors are then opened to enlarge the hole. Then, the baby's brains are sucked out through a catheter.
This ban on partial birth abortion is needed.Anyone who can support such a barbaric procedure must have a heart of stone.

I'm pro-life and don't like the idea of "partial birth" abortions at all. It is senseless to let that life start to come out of the womb only to kill it. I'm glad there won't be any abortions after the third trimester. But I am not comfortable with the "regardless of the health of the mother, whether it endangers her life or not."
I don't approve of abortions. But the mother's health should not be compromised.

I think it was a wise decision. Partial birth abortion is disgusting and vile. How can a medical person who is supposed to hold to the sanctity of life perform this. This person without a doubt is heartless and cruel.
The only guys who are pro-choice is the ones who do not want to be responsible.

Adolf would have been proud of the idea of pro choice.

Partial birth abortion is barbaric, and should be illegal. As for the politics involved, you can rest assured that Bush is looking out for the elite.

Every pregnancy is as unique as each woman's body.
The woman and her qualified doctor should be allowed to make the appropriate decision.
