I don't hate Jesus (pbuh), I actually love him. I just don't worship him. Big difference! I worship God, not a mere mortal

I believe that Jesus may have been a real person, but I do not believe that he watches over us and will return again one day to save the souls of sinless people and bla bla. I also do not hate religion or those that follow their beliefs. I do resent extremists.
For those people that answer this question by assuming the reasons why people do not believe have something to do with hatred or lack of respect or any other sins then think about what you are actually doing by putting someone else down. You are a fool if you think you can be everything Christianity asks of you without contradicting yourself.
For that reason, I do not believe in Jesus or God or any other religion. I do not wish to knowingly contradict myself.
I also do not respect any person that thinks so highly of him/her self that they feel the need to tell someone else how to live their life, or if you don't do this then you will go to hell, or if you do this then you're a bad person.
I don't need someone else to MAKE me happy. I am already a happy person with a great sense of humour. I appreciate my gift of life. I love to watch the clouds drift and the shadows that the sun makes, the wind in the trees, children giggling while playing, watching animals in their daily chores, or the rain and ocean belting against rocks and the force of nature herself.
I am content, I am happy, I treat others as I wish to be treated, I solve issues as I come across them, I give to charity, I help people in the community, I love my life.
What's so wrong with that?

Well I am a Roman Catholic and Jesus is the center of our religion. Catholics really believe on Jesus. But since we have freedom to choose religion, anyone has the right to choose whom they believe so we cannot force them to believe Jesus because every religion has its center of their belief.

It is not that they are disliking Jesus, it is that they like their God, so just to show that they love their God, they tell like that. And a small advice u can belive in ur God but i dont understand y u want all of them to believe Jesus. Let they worship ur God n let us worship Jesus. May God look after u wherever u go.

1. Jesus was a man.
2. There is no god, so there is no son of god.
3. Jesus did not write anything so who is to say what he said or taught.
4. What is in the bible was written long after Jesus died by people who didn't know him directly.
5. If you like to live the life that the writers of the new testament said Jesus did, fine. Just don't worship a man and force anyone else to.

Lots of non-Christians just hope he doesn't exist because they've made him their enemy. Jesus exposes people for who they really are and challenges them to change. He asks them to stop making themselves the centre of their universe. He asks for the removal of that pride. People don't like that so they hate him. But us, we love Jesus because he's on our side and we know that our hope is not in vain. God bless!

I really do not believe that a dead man came back to life, visited his friends, then ascended to Heaven. No, I do not.
Believing such things would not make me happy. I like reality.

What is there about Jesus that is to be believed? That he is a main character in episode 2 of a lousy written storybook?

I do not believe in Jesus as the son of god - I do not hate him, worry about him, he is not my enemy, in fact he is nothing to do with me. If he makes you happy - fine - I just go much on myths.
