I believe in post tribulation because In the bible it says Christians will be killed for their beliefs. Also many Christians will be decieved by the antichrist. If we can go through the tribulation and survive without turning our backs on God that shows we are true Christians. However I blieve the antichrist has been here for nearly 2000 years and has decieved many Christians already

The Bible clearly teaches a time of great tribulation, but the concept of the pre-tribulation rapture was born out of Darbyism. The natural reading of important Bible texts favors a post-tribulational interpretation. The passage in Matthew 24 is perhaps the most telling:
But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory. "And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. (Matthew 24:29-31 NASB)
Paul tells us the rapture will happen at the last trumpet (which Revelation reveals occurs after the time of tribulation):
In a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. (1 Corinthians 15:52 NASB)
I believe arguments for the pre-trib rapture are fairly weak. The idea that we are not destined for wrath is not persuasive since God knows how to make a distinction between his people and others (see the judgments upon Egypt in Exodus). Neither do I find Christ's immanent return persuasive for the pre-trib rapture since everything to do with the last days and the return of Christ is sufficiently vague in Scripture for us to lack certainty regarding the day and hour of his return.

The rapture will be after the Tribulation, but before the wrath of God. The Tribulation is not the wrath of God, as one of the people above asserted--the Tribulation is Satan's reign on Earth and open season on those who are following Christ. The first link below contains a very in-depth look at the Tribulation and Rapture, written by a street-preacher friend of mine.

Basic fundamental christianity is Pre-Tribulation theology. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Romans 8:23, Titus 2:13, 1 Corinthians 15:51 - 52, Matthew 24:42-51; 25:1-13, Mark 13:37, Luke 12:37, Matthew 24:3, John 14:2-3, Acts 1:11, Luke 19:11, Philippians 4:5, Hebrews 10:37, James 5:8- 9, Revelation 22:10, 1 Corinthians 1:7, 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10. These are just a few of the verses, there are about 20 more. The weight of Scripture supports a pre-Tribulation Rapture. Wherever teaching about the Second Coming occurs in the New Testament, imminence is underscored. To interpose other events before the Rapture does violence to such teaching.
While Christians are looking forward to the coming of the Lord, it is well to remind themselves of Paul's words to Titus: "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works" (Titus 2:11-14).

I believe in the pre tribulational rapture of the church. It is the only view that consistently fits in with the general outline of the Bible, and is an imminent event. The Bible clearly teaches the imminence of Christ's return saying that He will come like a thief in the night, and that could not be true if His return was preceded by a series of events.

Neither.
The whole pre-trib vs. post-trib debate is exclusive to a theological model known as Dispensationalism, which was invented by John Nelson Darby in the 1820's. With rare exceptions, any Christian denomination that was formed before the year 1830 is either Preterist or Amellenial, neither of which include a "tribulation" or a rapture that is seperate from the second advent of Christ. Dispensationalists number around 30,000,000, mostly in the USA, and make up around 5% of the Christian population world-wide.

Pretribulation rapture for one simple reason:
The tribulation is God's judgment on the Earth. Why would he want to leave the believers behind to be punished?
Also, refer to the Book of Revelations: the rapture occurs before the tribulation begins.

Neither, I do not feel the Creator would destroy Mother Earth. I do think MAN might destroy himself. One thing is sort of scary in revelations, the whole idea of the ozone being depleted and sores appearing on peoples bodies, oil in the Ocean and so forth. Famine, increased and intense weather patterns and such. I just do not believe in bifurcation......... Or reasoning away the Natural existence of life via objectivity. I think prehistoric people truly live(d) in the Garden of Eden. It has been said that the Prophets have already spoken. The ideology of man shall have dominion over the earth is very agricultural and Cain like. While Abel appears to be much like hunters and gatherers. Or even Jesus, he prayed outdoors by himself in nature, sought visions there. Dominion over earth and animals is much different then fences, private land, and domestication. If the earth is only an object instead of a living being, then why did Jesus, Moses, Muhammad and so forth, seek to find God in a "cloak of nature"? Their primary visions came in nature, I do not know of anyone who had one in a building. I know Native people and many others find this solace and spiritual truth in nature as well. There is no bifurcation. There is a change, but no one said this change has to be destructive.....

After a brilliant form of learn of all the climate (pre, mid, submit, and don't ignore pre wrath), i think the only logical answer is pre-trib for a number of motives. a million. Jesus provides you that the Church would be saved from the hour of trial that shall try the entire international. 2. God tells us that the antichrist can't be revealed till the restrainer has been bumped off. maximum Biblical pupils have self belief the "restrainer" is the Holy Spirit working contained in the path of the Church. some submit trib followers state it is in basic terms the Holy Spirit and he would be bumped off and has no longer something to do with the Church. even although, that's no longer obtainable through fact the Holy Spirit is God and God is omnipresent and it relatively is impossible for God to be bumped off. The Holy Spirit will nonetheless be working in the international after the Church is raptured, He in basic terms heavily isn't working contained in the path of the Church. 3. If all believers are bumped off in the process the rapture, and IF the rapture did no longer ensue till at last after the tribulation, who may be left to repopulate the earth in the process the millenial kingdom. 4. submit trib in basic terms in itself denies the doctrine of imminence and makes void the blessed desire. the theory that Jesus can return at every time can no longer ensue in case you have self belief in a submit trib rapture. If Jesus won't be in a position to return till AFTER the tribulation, meaning He won't be in a position to seem for a minimum of seven extra years. The return of Jesus to this earth after the top of the tribulation is the 2d introduction (or coming). The rapture is a few thing fullyyt distinctive. on the rapture, Jesus is obtainable contained in the air, on the 2d coming He includes the earth. on the rapture, Jesus comes FOR the Church, on the 2d coming He comes WITH the Church. on the raptrue, in straight forward terms the Church will see Him, on the 2d coming all eyes shall see Him. @ Cindy, what's being defined there by using Jesus is His 2d coming. The elect is the remnant u . s . of Israel and the believers who got here to Christ in the process the tribulation. In verse 27, those amassed from the uttermost area of Heaven is the Church that returns with Christ at His 2d coming.

I don't "believe" in any particular scenario but I tend to think that the church will go through the tribulation because the pre-trib position is largely based upon the discredited doctrine of dispensation where somehow "the church" doesn't include the people of Israel. The Bible teaches differently and theologians have to come up with convoluted methods of interpretation to make the words of Jesus applicable only to Jewish people in the final days.
Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility 15 by abolishing the law of commandments and ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, 16 and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.
Ephesians 3:1 For this reason I, Paul, a prisoner for Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles-- 2 assuming that you have heard of the stewardship of God's grace that was given to me for you, 3 how the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have written briefly. 4 When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5 which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit. 6 This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
Matthew 24:29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
