First and foremost, I think you already know that this does not apply to all or even most Christians; this only applies, actually, to very few. I will let you know right now that I am agnostic, but I love religion, not just Christianity, to the bone because of their ethics and morals when it comes to helping others and the like.
The things about this matter is that you must see things from their point of view. It is quite easy to say that they are being annoying in this case, but perhaps you should compare it to something we have in our life. (I'm going to use an Asian parents example). Is it not true that our parents, at times, try to impose their beliefs on us when we are still in school? Such as the times when there is a test and we want to take a break or when they feel that there is a danger doing a certain activity and they warn us of what they feel and we still do not listen. This thing with Christianity is similar. Not the same, but similar. To the Chritstians, they have found a way to save themselves, just as the parents have so much experience in their life that they know what to do with it. To the Christians, they see those who have not realized the method of being "saved" (I'm sorry but I laugh at the term sometimes) and, like a concerned mother who doesn't want to see their children hurt, the Christians attempt to help those who are in danger of being hurt.
The thing is that so many of us see this thing about being "saved" as so ridiculous that we ignore the reason they do such a thing. It's not a matter or respecting beliefs (usually it is only agnostics and atheist and those who are religious but don't really care who do so - but even so those are very very few in numbers) for the preaching Christians, but rather that they are more concerned with what they think is a good cause. You can't blame them and I respect their attempts to do so. It is as if a scientist found a cure for a deadly but rare disease and attempts to show it to the community. Even the results can be the same. The cure of a disease will show through those who are cured and the cure of heavan will show through the changes for the better in people as they start to mind their actions towards other and their happiness in life.
To wrap this up, I just want to say that you can't blame the Christians. If you found an amazing secret in a game you and your friend was playing, I think you would want to share it too.

Christians are taught to spread the word, To make sure everyone is made aware of the love of Jesus Christ. To walk meekly through life with out spreading the word would be a sign of a weak faith! So if you wish to not hear about the love of Jesus Christ you should lock yourself in a closet and ignore all the noise that's cometh!
No I'm not a Christian type, but the word they spread doesn't upset me, to each there own i like to say!
Oh and as some one once answered in one of my questions, they are not phycic so how would they know you don't want to hear what they say?

i am a strong christian and I don't think chrisitans should preach to their friends or push it onto anyone. I live a quietly prayerful, life and answer on a questions asked basis only. don't put us all in the same boat.. I never judge others either and I have friends of all religions and no religions. we're not all bible bashers and while i will stand up for my faith i never shove it in people's face. sometimes people are surprised to find out i'm a christian and sometimes they're not.
do you live in america? i think maybe its a bit more in your face over there as i am in england, i notice a cultural difference between the two.

See... you're doing it now... i comprehend you're no longer meaning to and which you mean properly (and you're doing it in somewhat a tolerable way, somewhat in assessment to somewhat some others I even have encountered), yet you in basic terms don't comprehend the outcomes of it... the main concern with this complete take care of Christians no longer understanding that they are pushing their faith on others probable lies contained in the incontrovertible fact that many have not got self belief their concept equipment to be a "faith", yet extra of a "own relationship" with their deity. faith is defined as: a million. a collection of ideals with regard to the reason, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. whilst seen through fact the creation of a superhuman organization or agencies, many times related to devotional and formality observances, and often containing a ethical code governing the habit of human affairs. 2. a particular widespread set of ideals and practices frequently agreed upon by using somewhat some persons or sects I do have self belief that (appropriate me if i'm incorrect) that Christianity does in certainty incorporate each a style of attributes. have self belief me, if we necessary to take heed to what a Christian had to declare, we'd have asked a protracted time in the past.

From experiences right here on Yahoo! Answers, I have seen that a large number of questions in the Religion & Spirituality section are pro-Christian anti-everythingelse.
I am a Muslim, and in most cases I just shrug it off. If those people think they're doing any good to their faith, they better think again.

Christians follow Christ and are on a different standard than the rest... Christians are forgiven... and that out of their love for people... want others to be with them in Heaven. Unfortunately, many people don't want to change and choose to go to hell instead. Christianity is not a defensive faith... it is an offensive one and aims to take the principalities and fortresses of Satan by storm. Those who are blinded to evil can not see that and do not understand what is at stake in their lives. Unfortunately, many people do not teach others in the gentleness and kindness that is instructed in the Bible... they accuse and judge others without taking the time to find out how to respond to skeptics instead of getting angry and upset. We are to give a reasonable answer to all who ask.

Wow, what a narrow and ignorant view. Are you always this closed minded? We christians can correctly say stop fprcing your lack of religious beliefs in oublic as well and be just as correct in our mind as you are in yours. Try learning about the other side before you speak in ignorance.

I don't try to push Christianity on anybody, but if a question is asked about Christianity, I'll do my best to look it up and give my answer. Another way to look at it is, if you don't want to know, then don't ask.

i guess its a matter of opinion but, from what ive seen people experience - such as my aunty, people who find happiness in thier spirituality believe they can pass on thier own experience onto others, i dont neccessarily agree with that principle but if all they want to do is make people happy then good luck to them.
