I can't answer your second question- but can explain the temple hierarchy in Jesus' time.

The Kohanim ran the temple according to the understanding of the laws as expounded by the Great Sanhedrin. Thus the Pharisees set the laws by which the Kohanim ran the temple. The Saduccees were a sect of heretics, and some of the stringencies around the laws were in order to make sure that the heretical views of the Sadducees did not enter the temple service.

Herodians had no authority or voice in the temple service or running at all, and neither did scribes, who merely recorded the decisions of the Great Sanhedrin. So your answer to the first question is strictly not there, since the Kohanim are not listed, but could be interpreted into B as the laws that the temple was run by was as interpreted by the pharisees..

The Priests ran the Temple, and most of them were Sadducees. Jesus did not perform any exorcisms in John. So A and C.

b yet the others were all involved even including the followers of Herod Herodians who were involved in protectorate in a governmental way
