The absolute best way to learn any language is to immerse yourself in the language. That means you should live somewhere like the U.S. or the U.K., if possible, and hang out with the natives.

You didn't mention if you currently live in China or if you are living in an English speaking country. In either case, you could try to study with an English as a Second Language (ESL) or English as a Foreign Language (EFL) tutor. If you're in the U.S., you can find a tutor on craigslist.org under the "Lessons" category. Of course, working with a private tutor costs money.

If you are living in an English-speaking country, some areas have organizations that match native English speakers with ESL speakers so that the non-native speaker can practice his or her English. This is usually free, however, the native speaker is usually not a trained English teacher.

If you can't find a native English speaker to work with, try to watch American films (without subtitles), read English books, websites, news, etc. Also, try to write something every day in English. Don't worry if it's not perfect. The main point is to train your mind to think in English.

And find a good grammar book. Try Azar's "Understanding and Using English Grammar," although this might be just a bit advanced for you (judging from the grammar in your written question). The next best textbook is "Grammar in Use--Intermediate" by Murphy.

This is sudhir 4m hyderabad ... i work as CSR in a BPO ... and as according to my personal experience , if u wanna learn English then just try to watch english movies and more important than that listen to english songs and try to understand the lyrics ... and also keep communicating in english with all , no matter who the other person is (may be any one ,, a rickshaw wala , grocery dealer any one ) and try to speak on any topic for atleast 2 min .. when u start learning the language and as the days pass increase the tim for 10 , 20 min ........ and just make sure u create ur own topic.... All the best and if u implement these am sure that u would improve compared to the current position of your language ...... All the best

Since this generation is completely different from when I grew up, I would seriously consider getting a penpal from New York City and ask them if they can teach you Ebonics.

For instance, I will now decipher your question that you placed in this forum:

"how ta improve da english ability in some sides? listening an' writing?espacially fo' spoken english!?

I would go to a local adult education class and study English with a teacher. Reading outloud would be the best way to learn to pronounce words correctly, but you have to make sure you can translate the pronounciations correctly first. Good luck! I can't imagine learning Chinese! Very hard language!

Watch English movies a lot. Let your ear get used to the sound spoken by native English speakers.

Hi

Try to spend as much time as you can with english speeking friends. Force yourself to always speek in the language you are trying to learn.

Here in America, we say, 'Practice makes perfect'. The more you practice with people you are comfortable with, the easier it will get.

I wish there was an easier way, but I believe that practice is the only way.

Hope this helps.
